M 320 F

Maximum performance in a minimum of space

The M 320 F combines the precision of a high-accuracy portal grinding machine with an exceptionally compact design. With a footprint of just 2.4 m², it offers the technological features expected by demanding users in toolmaking, precision manufacturing and profile grinding. The machine has been designed for maximum accuracy, cost-effective processes and future automation.

Our motivation

In many manufacturing environments, workpieces have become smaller in recent years, but grinding machines have not. As a result, small components are often machined on machines whose potential is then utilised in an uneconomical manner. The M 320 F has been developed for grinding tasks where small components need to be machined quickly and with high precision. It offers the precision and performance of modern profile grinding technology in a footprint of just 2.4 m² and, thanks to various spindle variants, optional rotary table solutions and automation options, can be used for a wide range of tasks.

The machine is delivered by forklift and can be put into operation almost ready to plug in. Weighing approximately 5,000 kg, the M 320 F can be installed in your production facility in most cases without the extensive preparatory work that is otherwise required.

Versatility

The M 320 F adapts to a variety of grinding tasks and supports both horizontal and vertical machining configurations. Depending on the application, swivel or rotary table solutions are available. To ensure cost-effective production, the machine can also be fitted with automatic workpiece loading and automatic grinding wheel change.

Precision

A single-piece granite base provides the foundation for consistently precise grinding. High rigidity, exceptional temperature stability and outstanding damping properties minimise external influences and ensure reproducible results. Granite, as a natural material, thus forms the basis for the highest level of accuracy over many years.

Dynamic

Maximum productivity starts with maximum speed. With up to 200 strokes per minute, the linear motor drive on the table axis ensures short process times and high cost-effectiveness. The optionally available hydrostatic guide also offers virtually wear-free operation and provides the ideal conditions for achieving the highest surface quality.

Profitability

The M 320 F combines high productivity with a minimal footprint. Proven FANUC technology, durable machine components and the option for automation lay the foundations for cost-effective operation over many years. At the same time, the compact design, small footprint and high energy efficiency reduce running costs and enable optimal use of valuable production space.

Variants of the M 320 F

The M 320 F can be adapted to a variety of applications. The grinding spindle can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
The table surface allows for a wide range of configurations for workpiece clamping and dressing.
