STÖCKEL FD is a high-precision portal type grinding machine with optimum space utilization. All the main load-bearing elements are made from natural stone. Granite ensures excellent vibration damping and high rigidity for the complete machine.

Linear guides or hydrostatic guides are used as options in the machine. In the standard version, the drives in the vertical and transverse axes are electromechanical and hydraulical in the table axis.

At customer's request, a mechanical drive may also be used in the table axis, which will minimize the influence of temperature on the grinding precision of the machine.

The solid granite design allows the application of high table-loads which are only limited by the load-bearing capacity of the supporting floor structure.

Our control systems, from conventional NC to CNC, complete our offer and are supplied to comply with the requirements of the customers' specific application.

All this makes STÖCKEL FD a superior machine from a technical point of view which allows high-precision machining of your work pieces. The machine is offered with a grinding range from 2000 x 800 mm upwards.
